Data Deletion Request - Edmonton Baseball League (EBL) App

What Data Can Be Deleted

You may request deletion of your personal information associated with your EBL App account, including:

• Account information (name, email, phone number, team, jersey size, and other profile data)
• Registration details and historical participation records
• Messages and comments you posted in the App
• Any uploaded photos or content you submitted

Note: Some data may be retained if legally required or necessary for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records for tax compliance or dispute resolution).

How to Submit a Data Deletion Request

To request deletion of your data, please provide the following information via email:

• Your full name
• Email address associated with your EBL account
• A clear statement that you want all your personal data deleted from the EBL App
• Your phone number or other identifier that can help us locate your account (optional but recommended)

Verification Process

For security purposes, we will verify your identity before processing your deletion request. We may ask you to:

• Provide additional account information to confirm you are the account holder
• Verify your email address if requested
• Provide proof of identity if we suspect unauthorized deletion requests

We will contact you within 5-7 business days after receiving your request if additional verification is needed.

Processing Timeline

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving a verified request. In some cases, it may take longer if:

• We need additional time to verify your identity
• Your data is intertwined with other users' data that must be preserved
• We need to check for legal or regulatory retention requirements

We will send you a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

What Happens After Deletion

After your data is deleted:

• Your account will be permanently closed
• You will no longer be able to access the EBL App with that account
• Your personal information will be removed from our systems (subject to legal retention requirements)
• You may re-register with a new account in the future if needed
